Two blues-rock gigs coming to the Apex

There’s standing room only, at two blues-rock gigs at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, at the end of this month.

Robben Ford (pictured above) is one of the world’s most influential guitarists.

Known for his masterful blend of blues, rock and jazz, Ford’s live performances are a thrilling showcase of his unparalleled musicianship.

One of Musician magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of the 20th century” Robben has received five Grammy Award nominations.

Over his illustrious career, he has worked with some of the greatest names in music including Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis, George Harrison, Bonnie Raitt, Kiss, Bob Dylan, John Mayall and many others.

You can see Robben Ford on Tuesday, November 25, while three days later, on Friday, November 28, When Rivers Meet take to the stage with their blend of rock-blues.

East Anglian duo Grace and Aaron Bond, AKA When Rivers Meet, were named UK Blues Awards’ Band Of The Year for three consecutive years, earning them a spot in the UK Blues Hall of Fame.

The first fully independent rock-blues band to have a Top 10 in the UK Official Album Charts, they have also had three No.1s on the Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart.
