Man charged after serious assaults in Sudbury
A man suffered serious facial injuries following one of three assaults in Sudbury which has resulted in a 23-year-old being charged.
The incidents took place on Thursday, November 13.
Police officers were called to King Street at 11.26pm after reports of an assault, with altercations taking place at both The Gainsborough and The Comfortable Cow public houses.
Two people were taken to hospital having been hit to the head, while a third person was reportedly punched in the face. One of the victims, a man aged in his 40s, suffered serious facial injuries.
The following day (Wednesday, November 14), a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (pictured above) for questioning.
He was subsequently bailed with conditions to return to police on January 5.
