Woman charged following death of sheep

A woman has been charged with her dogs being dangerously out of control and other offences after a number of sheep were killed in Assington Green, near Sudbury.

Linda Lawrence, 65, of Assington Green, was arrested on July 19 last year after a number of incidents on farmland in the area involving dogs which led to sheep being killed and injured.

Lawrence has subsequently been charged with criminal damage, being the owner of a dog worrying livestock, and being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

She was bailed to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on February 27.
