Motorbikes stolen from properties across Mildenhall
There has been a series of motorbike thefts in Mildenhall over the past two months.
The incidents all took place between November 15 and January 1.
They include:
- St Johns Close – sometime between 12pm and 7pm on Saturday, November 15, a motorbike was stolen but has since been recovered;
- Downing Close – sometime between 4pm and 8pm Sunday, November 16, a Yamaha MT125 motorbike with vehicle registration plate YY21 WNC was stolen;
- Peterhouse Close – on December 6 a Honda CBF 500 motorbike was stolen but has since been recovered. A motorcycle cover was also stolen;
- Sainsbury’s Car Park, Recreation Way – on Tuesday, December 30, a black and white 50cc moped with vehicle registration plate BX72 JDJ was stolen;
- Peterhouse Close – sometime between 9am on Sunday, December 28, and 12pm on Thursday, January 1, a SYM Jet black coloured scooter with vehicle registration plate AF23 DZA was stolen;
- St Johns Close – on Sunday, December 7, at 12pm, neighbours disturbed two male suspects attempting to steal a Yamaha motorbike. The suspects ran off; and
- Peterhouse Close – sometime between 1am in the early hours of Thursday, January 1, and 1pm on Friday, January 2, a garage at the rear of the property was broken into and an orange and black coloured motorbike with vehicle registration plate AV64 YCL was stolen.
Police are urging members of the public to report any suspicious activity they might see or hear.

Officers are continuing with targeted patrols in the area and are grateful to members of the public who have come forward with information so far.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the thefts, or those who have relevant CCTV/ ring doorbell footage incident or who knows the whereabouts of the motorcycles still outstanding.
