Man charged with drug dealing and driving offences after Stowmarket stop
A man has been arrested and charged in connection with drug dealing and driving offences after being stopped in Stowmarket.
Officers from the Sentinel West team had reason to stop a car on Wednesday, January 7, in Wagtail Drive, Stowmarket.
Suspected Class A drugs and an amount of cash was located within the vehicle.
The driver was arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (pictured above) for questioning.
Aurel Demushi, 25, of Gilbert Road, Romford, Greater London, was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis, use of a motor vehicle without insurance, driving while disqualified and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
He appeared before Ipswich Magistrates Court on January 9 where he was remanded to next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on February 6.
