Online charity auction launched with a host of lots available
An online charity auction has been launched with a host of lots available in a bid to raise money for charity.
The Bury Abbey Rotary On-line Charity Auction 2026 went live on March 11 and has already achieved a great deal of interest but there is still time to bid before the auction closes on March 29.
The auction has become a successful fundraiser in recent years for charities and community organisations in Bury St Edmunds and across Suffolk.
There are many exciting lots and wonderful bargains.
Everything from a Dragon Rapide Flight over London for two (pictured above), hospitality lunch at Bury St Edmunds Cricket Club, physical therapy treatment with Mike Bell, Abbeycroft family membership, afternoon teas, and much more.
Many of the lots have been donated by charities who will receive the money raised for their own funds.
Other money raised will be used by Rotary for projects in the local community.
Rotary President, Melanie Lesser, said: “There is something for everyone in our auction, so please have a look, place a bid, and help support local charities.”
The auction is live until 10pm on Sunday, March 29.
