Mid Suffolk Rotary Club supports Keep Stowmarket Tidy Week with community litter pick

Mid Suffolk Rotary Club is supporting Keep Stowmarket Tidy Week as part of its ongoing Community Champion initiative.

This annual spring clean, held during the school Easter holidays, brings residents, volunteers, and local organisations together with a shared mission: to keep Stowmarket clean, welcoming, and litter‑free.

Each year, volunteers gather at the Recreation Ground before heading out to key areas of the town to tackle litter as a team.

The event has become a valued tradition, offering a simple but powerful way for people of all ages to meet others, take pride in their community, and make a visible difference to the local environment.

Mid Suffolk Rotary has long been a supporter of this initiative, recognising the positive impact that collective action can have on the town’s appearance and community spirit. 

Mid Suffolk Rotary meet usually at a local hostelry every other Thursday evening.
