Man attacked outside nightclub in Newmarket

A man has been injured in an assault outside a nightclub in Newmarket police have revealed.

The victim was attacked by two men armed with a climber’s axe and a baton between 1.15am and 1.50am on April 5, in High Street.

Officers would like to speak to two female witnesses who might be able to assist their inquiries and ask them to come forward.
