Rotarians raise £656 for charities at Woolpit Steam Rally

Mid Suffolk Rotary showcased its new Rotary District gazebo at this year’s Woolpit Steam Rally (pictured above), where members raised £656 to support both local and international charities.

The raffle prizes on offer were a wheelbarrow of booze, a Pro Cooker and a hamper of goodies.

The club extended its thanks to the following businesses for their generous donations towards the raffle prizes:

• Travis Perkins, Stowmarket – for supplying a wheelbarrow.
• Tesco, Stowmarket – for donating a Pro Cooker.
• Nethergate Brewery – for a case of beer.
• Nethergate – for a bottle of wine.
• East of England Coop – for a £10 gift voucher which was used towards the hamper of goodies.
