Writer and producer to appear at Q&A session at town centre cinema
The Abbeygate Cinema, in Bury St Edmunds, (pictured above) is set to host an appearance by writer-producer Justine Waddell for a Q+A following the screening of “Virginia Woolf’s Night & Day”, this coming Saturday, June 20.
Joined by Dr Vicki Callanan, a prominent Virginia Woolf scholar, the session will follow the 4.30pm screening of the film, with limited tickets left.
“Virginia Woolf’s Night and Day” is a romantic comedy-drama directed by Tina Gharavi, reimagining Woolf’s novel around Katharine Hilbery, a determined astronomer resisting the expectations of marriage in Edwardian London.
The film blends romance, feminism, and wit, following Katharine as she navigates love, ambition, and the suffragette-era struggle for independence.
Its ensemble cast includes Haley Bennett, Timothy Spall, Lily Allen, Elyas M’Barek, Jack Whitehall, Jennifer Saunders, and Sally Phillips.
