Discount weekend at Abbeygate Cinema

This coming Saturday and Sunday the Abbeygate Cinema, in Bury St Edmunds, is staging a discount weekend where tickets are reduced.

They cost £6, £3 for Abbeygate members and children’s tickets are only £3. There will also be other discounted prices for this weekend only.

This follows several successful similar events and Gareth Boggis, the general manager at the complex in Hatter Street, said: “We pride ourselves on offering incredible value and making cinema accessible for everyone in Bury St Edmunds.

“This discount weekend is an ever further reduction on our discounted Summer Savings offer, making the most of the government’s scheme to give affordable options for families.

“Ahead of a brilliant summer of film, including ‘The Odyssey’, available in 35mm only at Abbeygate, we want to get you in the mood for film.”

Films showing will include “The Invite”, “Toy Story 5”, “Minions”, “500 Miles”, “Obsession”, “Supergirl” and more.
