Raiders break into business premises in Long Melford

Raiders have broken into business premises in Long Melfod taking a ride on lawnmower and other gardening items.

The incident took place sometime between 6.30pm on Monday, July 13, and 5.20am the following day, when they forced entry into a container within the grounds of a business on Rodbridge Corner.

A John Deere Z740R ride on lawnmower was stolen, which would have required a large van or trailer to have been removed, as well as a green, Webb petrol push lawnmower with a black grass bag, and a Mountfield MB33D petrol brush cutter.

A further container was also broken into, however it is not yet know what, if anything, was stolen from it.
