Matt Chorley, the editor of Red Box, The Times’ political email and podcast, is coming to the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds next month, with his hilarious new stand-up show “This Is Not Normal” – tales of resignations, reshuffles and recriminations, and reassurances that it doesn’t have to be this way.
By day, he works in Parliament, trying to explain what is happening in politics for The Times.
He is editor of Red Box, giving an insider’s guide to life in Westminster with additional comment, polling, analysis – and a sense of humour.
He joined The Times in 2016 after a decade covering politics at MailOnline, Independent on Sunday, Western Morning News and the Press Association.
By night, he admits nobody has a clue, and nothing makes any sense at all, but this new show will attempt to explain what the hell is going on in British politics.
He will be at the theatre on Saturday, September 28, at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale at the Box Office, call 01284 769505, book online at www.theatreroyal.org/shows/matt-chorley-this-is-not-normal/ or visit the theatre in person.
