Theatre Royal has a host of acts and entertainers lined up for the coming months as it begins to fully reopen
There’s a host of talent lined up to appear at the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds over the coming months as the playhouse releases details of their Autumn 2021 programme.
There’s drama, comedy, music, family fun … and the ever-popular pantomime.
It kicks off with the Theatre Royal’s own production of Louis Sachar’s “Holes” from August 20 to September 4 and is followed by stand up comedy by John Shuttleworth, on Wednesday, September 22, Milton Jones, on Sunday, September 26, Mark Thomas, on Sunday, October 3, Ed Byre, on Sunday, October 10, and Rob Newman, on Thursday, October 28.
There are drama productions every month with musical tribute acts remembering the likes of Simon and Garfunkel, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and a chance to rekindle the Euro 2020 anthem of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”.
And in the run up to that most special time of the year there is the annual pantomime which is “Cinderella” running from Thursday, November 25, to Sunday, January 16.
The 9th annual Golf Day will be, held at Stowmarket Golf Club, on Friday, September 17, in association with Suffolk Village Info and entries are welcomed from teams of four for a day of golf, kicking off with a bacon roll and rounded off to a tee with fish and chips.
