Star Comedian Jason Manford entertained an enthusiastic packed audience at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds last night with his own brand of sharp wit and consistently hilarious observations of life today and during the pandemic. His Like Me tour is playing at over 100 venues across the UK and Ireland during 2021 and 2022.
The 40 year Mancunian, as others often do when they visit Apex seemed very impressed with the venue and inquired what life was like in Bury St Edmunds. When he asked the audience if Bury St Edmunds was a posh place to live the unanimous reply was a resounding YES!
The biggest point to pick up on the evening was that Jason was so pleased to be back on the road and his enthusiasm for making people laugh and be happy fed through to the audience and the standing ovation at the end was a testament to the hard working comedian.
Jason was ably supported by fellow stand-up comedian and TV’s Mock the week favourite Maisie Adam who gave the audience the insight into that haircut and her love of football and by the way she once played for Leeds United but she didn’t go on about it!
Yet another brilliant night at The Apex ………it really is great to be back!
Jason had two performance a night in Bury St Edmunds over the 24th & 25th November but returns to Suffolk at the Ipswich Regent on December 4th and Felixstowe Spa Pavilion on the 11th December both have been re-scheduled from earlier in the year. If you get a chance to go and see Jason and want a really good laugh, buy a ticket you won’t be disappointed.
