The Forge Church, in Debenham, which make Christmas hampers and dinners for people who need extra cheer at this time of the year, has been given a donation of £775 thanks to the Rotary Club of Stowmarket Gipping Valley.

It comes after the club organised their annual Christmas collection at the Tesco Superstore, in Stowmarket.

This Christmas is going to be a tough one for many families who won’t be able to afford a lot of the things that we take for granted. So, for the 11th year the Forge are providing the full Christmas dinner to families who need it, making sure they have a memorable day with full tummies.

The Rotary Club of Stowmarket Gipping Valley meet every two weeks on a Thursday by Zoom and also face to face.
