Pedestrian killed following hit and run incident on A11 at Red Lodge
A pedestrian has died in a hit and run incident on the A11 at Red Lodge.
Police were called by the ambulance service shortly after 10.30pm yesterday, Monday, September 23, to a report of an injured person on the A11 southbound in Red Lodge.
It was reported a vehicle had subsequently collided with the person and that the vehicle failed to stop.
Emergency services attended, however, the pedestrian, a man aged in his 30s, sadly died at the scene.
The road was closed in both directions whilst emergency services attended the scene and conducted the initial investigation.
The road was fully reopened at 6.45am this morning, September 24.
