CCTV appeal in connection with handbag theft

Police are issuing CCTV images of three men they would like to trace in connection with a handbag theft in Sudbury last year.
The incident occurred In East Street, where the victim – a woman aged in her 80s – withdrew money from a cashpoint and was then followed by three men into a nearby retail premises.
Once inside the shop, the victim was distracted by one of the men, whilst a second stole her handbag from out of her shopping trolley. All three men then left the shop together.
The bag was located by a member of the public the following day in a road near to Earls Colne. A quantity of cash in an envelope had been removed from the bag.
Police would like to speak to the three men pictured in the CCTV images attached regarding this incident and pictured above.
