Motorcyclist seriously hurt following collision in Burstall.
The rider of a motorcycle has been seriously injured following a collision with a vehicle in Burstall.
Police officers were called to the A1071 at the junction with Hadleigh Road at around 2.45pm on Wednesday, January 29, by the East of England Ambulance Service, following reports of a collision involving two vehicles – a silver Mercedes and a green Kawasaki motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike, a man aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries.
He was initially taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmuds, before being transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, for treatment.
