Man hurt following dog attack incident in Elmswell

Police are appealing for information about a dog attack which occurred on land opposite Lord’s Bridge, in Elmswell, on Saturday, May 31, between 9am and 9.20am.

An Alsatian-type animal knocked over a 74-year-old man, aggravating a back injury, and attacked his dog, which required veterinary treatment.

The Alsatian’s owner had to use force to get his dog away.

  1. I think it is time all dogs should be kept on a lead, and some need a muzzle. I have seen big dogs that the owners are having trouble holding back. god forbid if these dogs get away or their leads break, I have been getting more worried to walk my small dog. A;so a lot more dogs are very re active.
