Residents advised of revised bin collection dates for August Bank Holiday

West Suffolk Council is calling for bin-fluencers to share information on bin collection changes to make sure friends and neighbours don’t miss a collection due to the August Bank Holiday.

All bins will be collected one day late on the week commencing Monday, August 25.

Normal collections will resume from Monday, September 1.

David Taylor, the council’s cabinet member for Operations, said: “We are always thankful to our West Suffolk bin-fluencers in spreading the word about bin collection changes, reminding friends, family and neighbours to put their bins out on time.

“We are also asking residents to continue their efforts with recycling, as together we can all reduce waste and re-use more.
