£600 raised following quiz in Needham Market
Mid Suffolk Rotary held its regular annual quiz night once again with a total of 16 teams taking part.
The quiz master, at the event held at the Limes Hotel, in Needham Market, was John Player and was hailed as an outstanding success and was very much enjoyed by all the participants.
Nearly £600 was raised for local charities in the area and the photo above shows the winning team of Bury Abbey pointing to the scoreboard.
The next big event for the Rotary club is on November 15 and will feature the Stowmarket Concert Band, at the United Reformed Church, in Ipswich Street, Stowmarket. Doors open at 7pm.
The charity benefiting is Cancer Support Suffolk and the host for the evening is Mark Murphy MBE, previously of BBC Radio Suffolk fame.
