Body found in woodland in search for missing man
The body of a man has been found in Culford following searches for a missing person.
Teams from the police and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue were conducting searches in woodland between West Stow and Culford yesterday, Sunday, November 9, when they discovered the body of a man.
Although formal identification procedures have not yet taken place, the man is believed to be Andrew Harrington from Bury St Edmunds, who had been reported missing on Friday, November 7.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Andrew was my great-uncle. Just like me, he was an amazing artist. He was the person who inspired me to draw and be creative with my personality. God bless his soul forever in heaven. Rest in peace, Andy.
