Motorcyclist dies following collision with car in Hundon
A man has died following a two vehicle collision in Hundon.
Police were called at 10.15am this morning, Sunday, April 5, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a silver Peugeot 307 car and a Yamaha motorcycle on the B1063, Folly Road, Hendon.
Fire and ambulance crews were also in attendance but the rider of the motorcycle – a man aged in his 30s – was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver and the passenger in the car were both taken to hospital for checks.
The road was closed to allow for a collision investigation to take place and recovery of the vehicle. It reopened at 6pm this afternoon.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
