Festival of Flowers to be held in church in Drinkstone

A two-day Festival of Flowers event is taking place in Drinkstone in June.

It is being held at All Saints’ Church, in the village, on Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21, from 11 am to 5 pm.

Organisers said there will be music and more, on the theme of an English Country Garden.

“The flowers are fabulous, the cakes are homemade, and the tombola prizes are anyone’s guess,” they added.

Plants, photos, craft activities, refreshments, and a proper village welcome is awaiting those who attend.

Entrance fee is £3 for adults with children aged 16 and under free.

All proceeds from the event will go to All Saints’ Church.
