A Suffolk solicitors is celebrating after winning the Best Use of Technology in Conveyancing award.
Smith & Co, which has offices in Sudbury, Haverhill, Ipswich and Felixstowe, was recognised at the inaugural Conveyancing Awards for its digital innovation and use of technology to improve efficiency, streamline processes and enhance client experiences within residential property transactions.
The firm’s technology-driven approach includes integrated case management systems, digital onboarding, online identity verification, secure client portals, automated workflows and the use of Legal AI tools to support document review and streamline repetitive tasks.
These systems allow the conveyancing team to reduce administration time, improve transparency for clients and accelerate transaction times, while maintaining high standards of compliance and client care.
In addition, the business has invested substantially in their website performance, functionality, security, and user experience resulting in an increase of 137 per cent of referrals.

The ceremony took place at The Londoner last week with Vicky Hosking, conveyancing development lead Carrie-Ann Swinger and consultant solicitor Pauline Hodgson attending on behalf of the firm.
