New Post Office site for facility in Bures
A new Post Office, which is set to open next month, has been relocated in the village of Bures.
It was originally operational in Church Square and closed in March due to the retirement of the postmaster and has now been moved to Central Stores, in Bridge Street.
It is due to open on Tuesday, July 21, at 1pm.
The opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 7pm and provide 63 hours of service per week. This is longer than the previous opening hours for Bures Post Office.
The new branch will be located approximately 60 metres away from the previous branch. There is roadside parking outside and nearby.
This re-opening of the branch in a new location is a commercial decision for Post Office and it is not seeking feedback on this aspect of the change. However, they said they welcome suggestions and feedback about access into and inside the new premises.
The opportunity to give feedback will close on Tuesday, July 21. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 061116.
Submissions can also be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to Freepost YOUR COMMENTS, or by telephone 03452 66 01 15 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.
