New Orleans fried chicken restaurant to open in Stowmarket at the end of this month

New Orleans born fried chicken brand Popeyes® UK has announced that it will be opening its first restaurant in Suffolk with the launch of its Stowmarket drive-thru creating over 60 jobs.

Marking its 23rd opening this year and 88th since landing in the UK the restaurant food chain will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting launch day giveaways at 11am on Monday, June 30.

To celebrate, on launch day the first three customers queueing on foot and the first three cars in the drive-thru lane will take home free chicken sandwiches for a year*. Plus, the first 25 customers in each queue will be treated to exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise and the first 50 in each queue will bag a free chicken sandwich.

With both dine-in and takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy fan-favourites like the iconic chicken sandwich, hot wings, tenders, and signature chicken wraps.

The new restaurant will be located at 3 Thorney Way, and brings 61 new jobs to the area.

Plans include a drive-thru lane, 62 seats inside, self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.
